'World No Tobacco Day' kick-off non-smoking zones VU Campus

As of May 31, 2020, it is no coincidence 'World No Tobacco Day', the VU Campus is completely non-smoking.

The new policy applies to the entire VU Campus and the grounds surrounding the O | 2 Lab building, ACTA, the Botanic Garden Zuidas and the grounds surrounding Amsterdam UMC location VUmc. The latter have already been smoke-free since October 2019.

(Non-) smoking much discussed in Zuidas
By setting up these smoke-free zones, VU Campus is one of several parties that are committed to a smoke-free, healthy Zuidas environment. For example, ABN AMRO at Zuidplein and WTC already went before them this year.
