Research & Diagnostics Center ADORE of Amsterdam UMC will receive a subsidy

The new to be built Research & Diagnostics Center ADORE of Amsterdam UMC will receive a subsidy of more than € 600,000 from the municipality.

In the center, scientists and researchers will soon work together with SMEs and pharmaceuticals on new treatments for cancer and brain diseases. These facilities are unique in Europe.

The aim of the center is to facilitate the development and application of medicines and treatments. Combining neurological and oncological examinations is special here. Collaboration between science and business is also new.

Knowledge center Zuidas
ADORE is an important addition to the knowledge center in Zuidas. The center will be next to the Imaging Center of the Amsterdam UMC. The aim is for more activity and scientific knowledge in Zuidas, Amsterdam and the region. The arrival of the center will attract companies from the Netherlands and abroad and will strengthen the Life Sciences & Health ecosystem in Amsterdam.
